- Top standoffs to header: 0″
- Door opening to side wall: 24″
- Mantel: at least 12″ above the opening, no deeper than 12″

Back Home Warranty Policy

Back Home products are covered by manufacturer warranties that protect against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. While coverage periods vary by product and component, all warranty claims are handled through Back Home in accordance with distributor-level warranty guidelines.

Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser only, is non-transferable, and covers replacement parts only. Labor, installation, removal, shipping, or service costs are not covered.

Cottagewood Outdoor Wood-Burning Fireplaces sold by Back Home are covered under the Majestic Limited Warranty, which provides component-specific coverage:

• Limited Lifetime Warranty on the firebox and heat-exchanger components
• 5-Year Limited Warranty on refractory brick panels
• 1-Year Limited Warranty on components such as grates, screens, and damper assemblies

Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser only, under normal residential use and proper installation in accordance with manufacturer instructions. Venting components, installation labor, cosmetic wear, and damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or environmental conditions are not covered.

Back Home facilitates warranty claims on behalf of the customer; however, final warranty approval, coverage determination, and replacement part decisions are made by the manufacturer.

Warranty claims. Start a claim with us as the dealer and we will help you through it. Have your order number, the product's serial number and photos of the issue ready, and keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase.

Price match guarantee. Find the identical item advertised for less by another authorized dealer and we will match it. Send us the listing before you order.

Returns. Contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will walk you through it. Unused, uninstalled items in their original packaging can be returned, and a 20% restocking fee may apply to approved returns. Inspect freight deliveries before signing, and note any damage on the carrier paperwork.

Can I finance my purchase?

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on U.S. orders over $200. Smaller orders ship for a flat $35. Parcel items usually arrive in 3 to 7 business days and freight items in 7 to 21 business days. Oversized pallets and Alaska or Hawaii deliveries may be quoted separately before anything ships.
What if I find the same product cheaper somewhere else?

What happens if it is not right when it arrives?
