Back Home Warranty Policy for Bromic Products
Coverage Overview
Back Home warrants that your Bromic heater is free from defects in materials and workmanship when used for normal residential purposes. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Bromic offers different warranty periods depending on the heater model. Back Home uses the manufacturer’s coverage but follows distributor-level rules and processes when it comes to handling claims, documentation, and replacement procedures.
Warranty Periods
• Platinum Electric Heaters: 3-year warranty on the heater body and structural components.
• Other Bromic Products: Warranty length varies by product type and follows Bromic’s published warranty schedule.
• Electrical and Functional Components: Covered only within the manufacturer’s stated warranty window.
This warranty covers replacement parts only. It does not include labor, installation costs, removal, re-installation, or shipping fees.
What Is Covered
• Manufacturing defects in structural components
• Defects in functional parts within their warranty window
• Replacement of defective parts or replacement of the entire heater at Back Home’s discretion
• Normal operation under proper installation, proper electrical configuration, and proper use
What Is Not Covered
• Wear and tear, fading, discoloration, or cosmetic deterioration
• Damage caused by improper installation, unlicensed installation, incorrect wiring, or failure to follow installation clearances
• Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or improper maintenance
• Environmental or weather-related damage (water intrusion, corrosion, exposure beyond product ratings)
• Damage caused by operating the heater outside approved mounting orientations or clearance requirements
• Freight or delivery damage (must be reported at the time of delivery; not treated as a warranty issue)
• Labor, service calls, ceiling work, electrical upgrades, or any costs related to accessing or reinstalling the heater
How to File a Warranty Claim with Back Home
Back Home does not use a claim form. All claims are submitted by email.
Please email support@backhomehq.com with the following:
- Your name and contact information
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order number)
- Product model and serial number
- A description of the issue
- Photos or video showing the defect
Back Home will review your submission and coordinate with Bromic’s warranty department. If the claim is approved, replacement parts will be provided according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms. The customer is responsible for installation and any associated labor costs.
Customer Responsibilities
- Product must be installed by a licensed professional in accordance with Bromic installation manuals and local building codes
• Customer must retain proof of purchase for the duration of the warranty
• Heater must be used only in approved environments and installed within required clearances
• Any damage must be reported promptly
• Heater must be maintained according to manufacturer recommendations
